The primary objective of the project was to enhance the coastal area at the Caprice recreational center, creating a versatile space for leisure and entertainment. The vision included a beach area equipped with shower facilities and sun loungers, an entertainment hub in the form of a canopy dome for events located in the very center, and a picturesque ethnic area featuring a yurt to accommodate foreign visitors.
The colour palette for the project has been carefully selected to reflect the natural environment, incorporating hues reminiscent of wood, white, and ochre, all of which are eco-conscious choices. To maintain a sense of harmony with nature, the design avoids the use of conventional right angles, opting for streamlined shapes. The canopy, crafted from a lightweight material such as awning fabric, contributes to a sense of lightness and airiness for the guests.
Due to the conducted calculations, we have succeeded in achieving the maximum diameter of the dome structure feasible with the current technological capabilities of the republic. The architects designed a dome that is so secure and stable that it does not require removal in winter, even in the unpredictable weather conditions of the Issyk-Kul region. It is designed to withstand additional loads such as snow and ice.
The pathways between the areas create an unwitting logistical system that integrates the space into a cohesive whole. Each component of the project endeavours to expand the visual horizons with its sleekness. This strategy enables one to perceive the concept of perpetual water flow from one location to another, interspersed with diverse visual representations and trajectories.
